Ingredients (17)
- 12 oz 85% lean ground beef
- 1 oz Thai basil leaves
- 4 oz onion sliced
- 4 oz red bell pepper sliced
- 4 oz carrots shredded
- 0.5 oz bird's eye chili chopped
- 0.5 oz coriander chopped
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp Thai fish sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp sriracha
- 3 cups cooked medium-grain white rice
INSTRUCTIONS

Heat your frying wok/skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp canola oil and 1 tbsp minced garlic, sauté until golden and fragrant.

Add in 4 oz sliced onion and 4 oz sliced red bell pepper, and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Add 12 oz ground beef to brown with 1 tsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 2 tsp soy sauce, 2 tsp brown sugar, 2 tsp cornstarch, 1 tbsp lime juice, and 2 tsp sriracha for 7 minutes. Stir constantly until caramelized.

Fold in 1 oz Thai basil leaves and 0.5 oz chopped coriander, toss quickly for 30 seconds and remove from heat.

Garnish with 0.5 oz bird's eye chili and 4 oz shredded carrots. Serve hot with 3 cups cooked medium-grain white rice.
