Ingredients (9)

  • 15 oz green beans
  • 2 oz raw bacon
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

1

Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot and place the steamer rack in. Place 15 oz green beans on the steamer rack. Close the lid and set the Steam Mode for 10 minutes.

2

Naturally release the steam. Then transfer the beans to a plate.

3

Remove the hot water and towel dry the inner pot. Turn on the Sauteé Setting, add 2 oz bacon and cook until the bacon is crisp, about 3 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a small bowl, and let it cool down completely before chopping.

4

Heat 1/2 tbsp olive oil and add 1 tsp garlic. Sauteé until fragrant, for about 30 seconds.

5

Add the green beans, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ground pepper, and 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter. Stir fry for another 1 minute.

6

Transfer the green beans to a plate. Sprinkle the chopped bacon, 1/4 tsp lemon zest, and 2 tbsp parsley over the dish.

7

Serve.
