Ingredients (13)

  • 14 oz cooked spaghetti from 7 oz uncooked
  • 4 oz smoked sausages sliced
  • 3 oz white mushroom sliced
  • 2 oz mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup homemade tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp basil chopped
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Prep:

1

Boil the spaghetti: Bring water to a boil, then add the spaghetti and cook according to the instructions on the package. When done, remove from the heat and transfer to a bowl.

2

Slice the white mushrooms: Use a clean cloth or tissue paper to wipe the dirt off the mushroom (do not rinse), then cut them into slices.

3

Slice the smoked sausages.

4

Finely chop the parsley.

5

Finely chop the basil.

Cook:

1

Mix the cooked spaghetti: In a large bowl, add 14 oz cooked spaghetti, 2 medium eggs, 2 tbsp flour, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper and 1/4 tsp salt. Toss well to coat evenly.

2

Pan-sear the smoked sausages: In a skillet over medium heat, add 4 oz smoked sausages. Flip to cook for a total of 4 minutes until both sides are slightly browned.

3

Stir fry the mushrooms: In the same skillet, add 3 oz white mushrooms. Stir to cook for 5 minutes, then transfer the sausages and the mushrooms to a bowl.

4

Pan-sear the spaghetti mix: Add 2 tbsp olive oil to a skillet over low heat, then add the spaghetti mix and use tongs to give it a gentle toss. Cook for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat.

5

Assemble the spaghetti pizza before baking: On a parchment-lined tray, place the spaghetti mix in a round shape like pizza, then spread 1/2 cup homemade tomato sauce all over it before adding the stir-fried sausages and mushrooms. Sprinkle the top with 2 tbsp basil, 2 oz mozzarella cheese, and 1 oz cheddar cheese.

6

Bake the spaghetti pizza: Place it in the preheated oven and cook at 425°F for 10 minutes.

7

Garnish and serve: Garnish with parsley, if desired, then serve!
