Servings: 4 servings
- 24 oz raw peanuts with shells on
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 cups water
How to Make
Rinse the peanuts thoroughly, then transfer them to a boiling pot. Add salt and water, stir until completely dissolved.
Turn on medium heat, bring the pot to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer for 45 minutes.
Use a slotted spoon to fish all the peanuts out from the water. Pop one peanut to check if it's as soft as you want. If not, return them back to the water and continue to boil, pause every few minutes to check until you’ve got the desired texture.
