  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 6 basil leaves
  • 2 cups ice


  • Place sugar and basil leaves in a tall glass. Use a muddler to crush the leaves to get the fragrance out.
  • Add lemon juice, honey, a little bit of water (2-3 tbsp) to dilute the mixture. Pour everything into a pitcher and add the rest of the water.
  • Add ice and serve.
