How to Make Green Pea Salad

This healthy green pea salad is well-loved by kids and adults and will be an amazing addition to your family meal.

Ingredients (10)

  • 10 oz frozen green peas
  • 2 oz red onions diced
  • 1 oz celery chopped
  • 0.75 oz pan-fried bacon crumbled
  • 0.5 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp Japanese mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS

Pour 2 cups of water into a pot, then bring to a boil. Add 10 oz frozen green peas and boil for 2 minutes. Drain them well, and wait until they cool down.

Meanwhile, make the salad dressing. In a mixing bowl, put together 1/2 tsp pepper, 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt and 1 tsp lemon juice and stir until it reaches a thick, smooth consistency.

Add cooked green peas, 2 tbsp parsley, 1 oz celery, 2 oz red onions, 0.25 oz cheese, and 0.5 oz bacon crumbs, then mix them well.

Put the green pea salad into a serving bowl/ plate, and top with the remaining cheese and crumbled bacon.
