Health Benefits
All the benefits of carrot orange juice come from the combined effects of its two main ingredients: carrot and orange. Let’s find out what benefits they bring.
1. Benefits of Oranges
Orange is packed with vitamin C. One medium orange contains about 70 mg of vitamin C, while 1 cup of orange juice contains 124 mg.
Vitamin C is a crucial antioxidant that helps promote a healthy immune system, as well as prevent many diseases.

2. Benefits of Carrots
Carrot is rich in beta-carotene. When your body consumes beta-carotene, it converts this antioxidant into vitamin A.
Vitamin A has an important role in maintaining a healthy immune system. It may also help improve eye health.
Studies have shown that vitamin A deficiency in children can lead to a number of eye conditions. A couple of the common conditions include night blindness and conjunctival xerosis.
It’s crucial that you eat carrots and foods high in vitamin A to maintain your health and body functions. Check out this article on daily vitamin A intake to know how much you should consume per day.

If you want to cut down on your added sugar intake, simply reduce or leave out the honey. Depending on your taste, you may not need to add honey because carrots are naturally sweet.

Can You Freeze It?
Yes, you can freeze carrot orange juice.
You can pour it into an ice cube tray and wait for it to freeze completely. Then transfer the carrot orange juice ice cubes into a ziploc bag, seal it, and it’ll last for 1 month.
Use these fruity ice cubes to flavor your club soda for a quick and simple refreshment. You can also add them to your freshly squeezed orange juice instead of normal ice to avoid diluting the drink.
Another creative way to freeze your juice is to put it in ice cream moulds. Once it freezes, you’ll have delicious carrot orange popsicles to indulge in.

How Long Does It Last?
Since our carrot orange juice is homemade and doesn’t have any preservatives, it can only last up to 48 hours. However, we recommend drinking it all up within 2 hours before the quality starts to decline.
It is best to keep the juice in an airtight bottle or mason jar so that it stays fresh. The juice may separate but this doesn’t affect the taste so just give it a stir before you drink.
